Artistic creation is a reflection of the artist's inner spirit, requiring genuine emotion to resonate with others. My works convey emotions and nurture the mind and character. My passion for calligraphy and painting started in childhood, guided by my father and esteemed masters like He Zhaoqu. Balancing limited time with daily responsibilities has sometimes fragmented my focus, leaving me yearning for solitary creative moments. Now, at 70, with fewer obligations, I find myself creating more spontaneously, though with less output. Throughout my 60 years of artistic endeavors, I have never neglected my brush and ink. With three decades dedicated to sketching landscapes, I have a collection of works that vividly bring back past scenes and emotions, reflecting a life well-lived. Selected pieces are shared with friends and fellow artists.
